Tourism Australia Targets over 50's

Tourism Australia is unveiling the next phase of its global marketing campaign 'There’s nothing like Australia' in the UK on September 17 2012. It will run until October 28 2012 and will be followed by Tourism Australia partnerships with other airlines that fly from the UK. Tourism Australia will also extend the campaign in the UK through strategic partnerships with tour operators.

The campaign, a joint partnership with Qantas, will include a 30 second TV advert supported by online, mobile and print elements. It focuses on many unique Australian attractions such as the Bungle Bungles in The Kimberley, Sydney’s harbour, Uluru, the Great Barrier Reef’s Lizard and Hayman Islands, Freycinet in Tasmania and South Australia’s Kangaroo Island. Several scenes include examples of premier tourism product, a deliberate move to attract its primary target audience in the UK – an affluent long haul traveller aged 50-69
