SunExpress Launches New Routes from Luton

Turkish airline SunExpress has launched three of four new routes between Luton and Turkey, with the last starting on June 20 2018.

A twice-weekly (Monday/Friday) service to Antalya began on June 15; a twice-weekly route to Ankara began June 17 (Sunday/Tuesday) and a twice-weekly (Monday/Friday) service to Bodrum launched June 18. The weekly Wednesday flight to Gaziantep launches on June 20.

The flights to Ankara and Gaziantep are the only direct flights to operate to these destinations from the UK. The ancient city of Gaziantep is on the old Silk Road in Southeastern Anatolia.

SunExpress has flown twice-weekly (Sunday/Tuesday) to Izmir from Luton for the past three years.
