Flybe Boosts Summer Schedule From Birmingham

Regional airline Flybe has announced a number of additional flights from Birmingham Airport boosting the frequency on three of its most popular European routes to Hanover, Milan-Malpensa and Stuttgart creating new double daily flights effective for travel from March 30 2014, as well as an extra Saturday service to Stuttgart.

In addition, the airline will also be using larger 88-seat Embraer 175 jet aircraft on the majority of its Hanover and Stuttgart services previously operated by the smaller 78-seat Q400 turboprop.

In total, Flybe will operate up to 680 flights a week to and from Birmingham on 24 routes for summer 2014, including its recently announced daily service to Newquay. The airline also reports that it is planning futher new Flybe routes from Birmingham very shortly.
