Cox and Kings New Canada & Alaska Brochure

Cox & Kings has launched its first brochure combining Canada and, new for 2015, Alaska. Canada has previously been featured only on the operator's website.

The programme offers a range of group tours, rail journeys, cruises, self drive holidays and tailor-made itineraries.

Three options are available to Alaska including a nine-day Highlights of Alaska self drive tour which costs from 1495 including car hire. A nine-day train trip on the Alaska Railroad travels the 470 miles from Seward to Fairbanks with stays in local accommodation. Prices start from 2145. A 16 day Alaska Adventure is an escorted tour with prices from 3445. It begins with a seven-night cruise from Vancouver up the British Columbian coastline to Seward, followed by a coach tour which takes in the Denali National Park, Fairbanks and Anchorage.

The Canada programme includes trips to western and eastern Canada and the Arctic. A five-day Tundra Buggy Polar Bear Experience in the Arctic offers the chance to see polar bears from the Tundra Buggy Lodge, a 100 metre line of specialised cars which, when linked, roll slowly along in search of wildlife. There are two sleeper cars for up to 38 passengers, a lounge and dining cars. Prices start at 2775, with three departures in October.

Prices include accommodation and excursions but exclude international flights and transfers.
